Dr Lauren McGale is one of the Research Assistant’s for Research Theme 3 ‘Consumer’, from the department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Liverpool. Lauren is an experimental psychologist with an interest in appetite and obesity research. Specifically, her research has focused on the influence of the food environment on eating behaviours (choice, preference, intake), specifically the types of foods and beverages being promoted (nutrient profiling) and the promotional techniques employed (e.g. marketing, food packaging, health claims).
