Maddy Power is a Post Doctoral Researcher working on Research Theme 3 ‘Consumer’. She trained in social and political sciences at the University of Cambridge and social policy at the London School of Economics, and previously worked as a researcher at The Equality Trust and the Resolution Foundation and as a campaigner at 38 Degrees. Her research interests include food insecurity in developed countries and the social determinants of health. She has recently completed a White Rose National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded project on the prevalence and experience of food insecurity and food aid in multi-ethnic, multi-faith contexts.
