Professor Jason Halford is one of the Co-Investigators for Research Theme 3 ‘Consumer’. He is Chair in Biological Psycology and Health Behaviour and Head of the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Liverpool. Jason’s research focuses on drug-induced weight gain, the effects of nutrients and fibre on appetite and hormone release, the effects of stress on eating behaviour, the effect of marketing of children, and on lean-obese differences in the expression of appetite.
